NET INTERSTATE FAN EXPERIENCE COMPETITION
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Competition, Promoter & Promotion Partner
1.1. By entering the “Nets Interstate Fan Experience Competition” and in consideration for the opportunity to win the prize associated with the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by and observe these Conditions of Entry. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Conditions of Entry.
1.2. The Promoter of the Competition is Global Hosts Pty Ltd (ABN 26 611 434 489) trading as sportshosts.com of, 10 Watersons Road, Tarrengower Victoria Australia 3463 (Promoter), phone +61 447 741 213
1.3 Entrants are not required to purchase any SportsHosts product as a condition of entry.
2. Who may enter
2.1. Subject to paragraph 2.3, entry into the Competition is open to all permanent residents of the USA aged 18 years or over.
2.2. Each eligible entrant may enter only once but will receive additional entries by undertaken the items listed in clause 6.1
2.3. The officers, management and employees (and immediate family members of officers, management and employees) of the Promoter are not eligible to enter the Competition.
3. Competition Period
3.1. The Competition commences at 9:00 am Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 4th February 2019 and closes at 5:30pm EDT on 31 March 2019 (Competition Period).
3.2. Entries not received during the Competition Period will not be eligible to win.
4. How to enter
4.1. Eligible entrants must:

5. Prizes
5.1. The Competition is not a game of skill. The winner will be determined by the individual or supporter group that has accumulated the most points as per clause 6 will be the winner.

6.1. Each individual entrant is able to earn additional competition points (chances to win) by undertaking the following:
Each game day the entrant (individual or supporters group) takes visitors secured through sportshosts.com or by SportsHosts staff to attend a live sports event will earn an additional competition points into the competition. i.e. if the entrant/group hosts one GameDay (taking visitors secured through sportshosts.com or by SportsHosts staff to a live sports event) they will earn three competition points, if they host five individual game days (taking visitors secured through sportshosts.com or by SportsHosts staff to five live sports event), they will earn 15 competition entry points.
If the host/supporter group receives a positive review on the SportsHosts website from an visitor they hosted they will earn two (2) additional competition entry points per positive review.
If the hosts shares their GameDay of taking visitors secured through sportshosts.com or by SportsHosts staff on social media by tagging the post #sportshosts they will earn an additional two (2) competition points per post, limited to two posts per event.
If the host/supporter groups refers friends to signup up to sportshosts.com they will earn an additional two (6) competition points per sign up
6.2 All valid entries received by the Promoter during the Competition Period will accumulate competition points and an individual winner will be drawn.
6.3. The winner draw will take place on 31 March 2019 at The Barclays Centre, 620 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217, USA or other venue as advised by SportsHosts prior to 31 March 2018
6.4. The Prize winner will be notified by telephone by April 1 2019 and the name of the Prize winner will also be published by April 1 2019 on SportsHosts website sportshosts.com
7. Overall Prize
7.1. The overall prize value is US$2,500
7.2. The winner of the major prize (individual) gets an interstate trip to watch the Indiana Pacers on April 7 2019 including airfares, accommodation, $250 USD spending money and event tickets. Any costs greater than US$2,500.
7.3. The major prize winner acknowledges that the prize includes both the winner and any winner’s guest to agree to be filmed on the GameDay they attend for use by the SportsHosts both in the USA or internationally and the winner’s and winner’s guest/s image will be used for ongoing promotional purposes.
Before the prize is awarded, the winner and the winners guest/s will be required to sign an agreement consenting to the use of their image, name, entry and/or voice in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting SportsHosts (including any outcome).
7.4. The winner and winner’s guest/s will be required to attend the selected team sports event (including pre and post game related social activities) with the Promoter’s camera crew.
7.5. The maximum total value of the Overall Prize is US$2,500 (including GST).
7.6. The Overall Prize winner is responsible for all expenses not specified in these Conditions of Entry, including but not limited to transport to and from the Overall Prize winner’s place of residence to the nearest capital city airport, any meals and beverages, insurance (including medical, travel and health), items of a personal nature (including but not limited to in-room charges, tips, telephone and laundry), tickets or travel costs exceeding the US$2,500 prize and all other ancillary costs.
7.7 The winner must confirm destination and event details with SportsHosts within 7 days of being award the prize. If the winner fails to do so via email to darren@sportshosts.com or via phoning Darren Walls, at SportsHosts on +61 447 741 213. Failure to do so means the winners prize will be forfeited and SportsHosts will randomly redraw the prize subject to approval by the State regulatory bodies.
7.8 The winner must agree to travel and attend a team sports event between April 5 and April 8 2019.
8. Notification of prize winners
8.1. The Prize winner will be notified by telephone on April 1 2019 and the winners name will be announced on the SportsHosts website: sportshosts.com
8.2. The prize winner must accept the Prize as detailed in clauses 7.1 to 7.7
9. Information for prize winners
9.1. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. Prizes are not redeemable for cash and must be taken as offered. In the event that any element of a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to written directions from State regulatory bodies.
9.2. The prize winner is responsible for all expenses not specified in these Conditions of Entry.
9.3. The Promoter does not accept responsibility and is not liable for any additional conditions imposed on the taking of the prize or the breach of those conditions by any person.
9.4. All entrants agree to provide the Promoter or the Promoter’s authorised agent with identification and proof of age if selected as a prize winner. In accepting the prize, the prize winner agrees to the limitation of liability set out below. The form of identification and proof of age are at the discretion of the Promoter.
10. Unclaimed prizes
10.1. In the event of the major prize not being accepted or claimed under clause 7.7 or is otherwise forfeited despite the Promoter making all reasonable efforts to notify the winner, and due to travel date requirements, the relevant winner's entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to reconvene conduct a further random selection, subject to written directions from State regulatory bodies.
11. Limitation of liability
11.1 Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded (including as set out under paragraph 11.2), the Promoter, its related corporations and associated agencies (and any of their personnel) exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any entrant (including the prize winner and their companion) in connection with the Competition or a prize, including, without limitation: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the negligence of the Promoter, its related corporations and associated agencies (and any of their personnel); and (iii) any liability for personal injury or death.
11.2. Nothing in these Conditions of Entry limits, excludes or modifies, or purports to limit, exclude or modify, the statutory implied guarantees/warranties as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the ASIC Act 2001 (Cth), including the statutory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, or similar laws in the States and Territories of Australia or in New Zealand.
12. Privacy
12.1. By entering the Competition, the entrant understands and agrees that the Promoter may use and disclose the entrant’s personal information to assist in conducting the Competition and communicating with the entrant in regard to special offers from the Promoter and its related entities. Entrants in the Competition acknowledge that the Promoter may share an entrant’s personal information with the Promoter’s Australian and foreign related entities which may contact the entrant with marketing messages and special offers. Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter may disclose the prize winner’s personal information to third parties for the purpose of fulfilling the prize. If an entrant elects to receive information from other third parties, the Promoter may also disclose the entrant’s personal information for that purpose. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Entrants may find out more information about how the Promoter collects, uses and discloses personal information by reading the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.sportshosts.com.au/terms-of-use.html. Entrants may access the personal information the Promoter holds about them by writing to the Promoter at the address set out below. If the Promoter limits or denies an entrant access to their personal information in certain circumstances, the Promoter will tell the entrant why access was limited or denied. 12.2. By entering the Competition, the entrant agrees that the Promoter will be sharing their personal details with the promotional partner, on any occasion this is required
13. General
13.1. By entering the Competition, the prize winner agrees that:
(a) If requested by the Promoter, the prize winner and guest will:
i. Provide comments about the Competition and/or a photograph or audio-visual clip of themselves; and
ii. Participate in a promotional shoot in connection with the Competition;
(b) The Promoter and the promotional partner may use the prize winner’s name, image, comments, photographs or clips (Materials) for publicity and promotional purposes in any form of media, without reference or compensation to the winner or any other person;
(c) The Promoter may use, reproduce, edit and communicate to the public the Materials at any time in any form of media;
(d) The Promoter may license, authorise or otherwise transfer the rights in the Materials to others, including the promotional partner, to do the same; and
(e) The prize winner unconditionally and irrevocably consents to any act or omission that would otherwise infringe any of their moral rights in the Materials and waives all moral rights in the Materials that arise inside or outside Australia.
13.2. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of this Competition, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
13.3. The prizes remain the property of the Promoter until delivered to the selected prize winner(s) or unclaimed prize winner(s) as the case may be.
13.4. The Promoter shall bear no liability if for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, technical failures or any causes beyond the Promoter’s control which corrupt or affect the fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the Competition, subject to written directions from State regulatory bodies.
13.5. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in manipulating, interfering or tampering with the entry process or any other element of the Competition. The use of any automated entry software or any mechanical, electronic or other means which allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
13.6. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter or its authorised agents for lost, ineligible, misdirected or late entries due to technical reasons or any other reason or due to periods of unavailability of the entry mechanism during the Competition Period.
13.7. The prize winner is advised that tax implications may arise from the prize and should seek independent financial and taxation advice prior to acceptance of the prize. The prize winner is responsible for all taxes (excluding airfare and airport taxes as set out in paragraph 7.1(a) & (b) above ) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize.
13.8. It is the entrant’s responsibility to inform the Promoter of any changes to their contact details, including their residential address, e-mail address or daytime telephone number.
13.9 These Conditions of Entry shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia and the courts of Victoria shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute relating to these Conditions of Entry.

- Ensure they agree they have read the Terms & Conditions provided. Entry into the competition is taken as the entrant as having read and agreed to the terms and conditions.
